Festival concept

Objectives

The purpose of the Festival - to introduce a wide range of Russia's public with a modern Dutch architecture and design. The festival is aimed to reveal the uniqueness of the Dutch approach - very creative and practical at the same time - to improve the surrounding world. The interpenetration of architecture, design and fashion, so typical of the Netherlands, finds worthy reflection of events and projects of the Festival.

"UDUTCHnaya architecture" to become a platform for professional communication, ideal for the establishment of personal ties of friendship, as well as long-term partnerships between Dutch and Russia's companies.

C: CA has made serious efforts to create a self-sufficient and self-developing system of cultural and business contacts between the Netherlands and Russia in the field of architecture and design. The festival not only will make the mouthpiece of the latest developments, his task - to formulate and submit to the Dutch brand of architecture, design and fashion, attractive to potential partners and customers.

Especially for the Festival of the Netherlands Architecture Institute (NAI) has prepared a separate section on the work of young Dutch architects.

Open lectures of the leading architects of the Netherlands: the landscape of the country as a whole to each of its residents individually.

The festival will premiere the film copyright Irina Korobina "Netherlands Coast", directed by Elena Lysakova.

FUTURE PROJECT

Festival "uDUTCHnaya ARCHITECTURE" serves as a platform for the presentation of architecture, fashion and design in the Netherlands, Russia at the international level.

C: CA plans to organize a festival once every 2 years for the submission of Russia's most promising community and relevant work in these areas.

Every time the focus of the Festival will be the main theme: in 2009 - Architecture in 2011 - Design, in 2013 - Fashion.

However, it is expected to identify and demonstrate the relationship between the creative industries, which is characteristic for the Netherlands. In 2010, the Festival will present the exhibition in St. Petersburg, Yekaterinburg, Nizhny Novgorod and Kazan.
